Ozcuda, your car is looking real good,I hope to have my r/t back from the spray painters at Smithfield this week, its running a bit behind due to a bogon moth invasion ruined the coat of clear so it all had to be rubbed back again, are you going to the Chryslers on the Murray in Albury next march?

That is beautiful car.  The fact that you have taken time to detail underdash parts that will never be seen is a great indicator of how nice this car will be.  Love the color too, but I am hardly impartial.

Boot done and exhaust is fittted.  Some problems - factory hangers wouldn't take 2.5" without heavy modification so I have 2.25" over the axles at the moment, also LH tip needs to be out a little further but I imagine this is pretty fiddly to achieve and might take another couple of hours labour to fix.

The man grinning in the reflection is the truck driver - hopefully he wasn't thinking about pinching it at a later date  :nono:

Some recent pics - more of the under bonnet wiring and plumbing is in, and the dash is done.  Quite a few wires under there with nothing to connect to so hopefully these were for factory options and not missed by me?

I sure have liked watching your progress, keep posting pics. You might want to post the last few again, the site was having some difficulties a while back and some pics did not come through or were lost. great job!

Nothing new on the car in the last 3 weeks - we had an election and now a stack of end-of-year functions taking up the weekends.  Been researching seatbelt requirements here in Oz and had to remove the engine loom as I broke one of the clips off  :pullinghair:  It needed to be modified anyway as it was small block and didn't line up with coil or temp sender on big block.  hopefully make some progress this weekend but I'm on leave in 2 weeks so should speed up then.

Got a the vapour return line and auto trans linkages painted before the rain set in this weekend.  Installed the selector in the cabin and test fit the console (which unfortunately has the usual broken section beside the shifter).  Also fitted the vacuum line to the air filter and the return line for the power steer.  Car is booked in on 5 jan to have the engine run in and get everything working (brakes, transmission etc).  Couple of days later it goes in to have the headlining fitted which means the windows aren't far behind.

p.s. Also bought a correct yellow top/Mopar sealed battery - only twice the cost of a normal battery  :screwy:
