Latest progress pics.  Glass and trim are on and the windows sort of work Ok.  Replaced the sailpanels and fitted the last of the interior window trim.  Battery that was flattened by the shop continues to be a pain so ran the car in the drive for about 40 mins this arvo to try and add some charge - man the floor was so hot it was burning my feet so I'm thinking some decent insulation under the carpet is going to be a must.

Kenny, I do have plates on hold but won't post them here.  Would be way-cool if I could run the California plates though - I quite like the look of the blue against the green.

Looks like one great, long, extensive project.  Awesome bud.

I'm curious about how much this has sent you back.

Loco,  been talking offline with Hemiken about seatbelt options but will be fitting new Klippan belts for engineering and rego, and then will explore how to have the original belts legally fitted to the car.  If you send me a PM, I can explain how to post pics as everyone would love to see your Chally.  Going to Albury?

Well, the carpet went in on Tuesday (not without drama - could only get manual carpet in timeframe I needed so took car to a trimmer to fit so carpet could be shaped for auto.  Trimmer just pushed the hump flat and assumed the crease in the carpet would be hidden by the seat - of course I didn't notice or check properly - give yourself more than 30 mins to accept a job before the truck arrives!  In the end I packed the hump with foam so that it looks sort of like it was meant to be but anyone that knows will see the manual hump on an auto), so now the bulk of the interior is in.  Pics aren't great as they were taken at night but will get better on the weekend.  IMNCARN82 helped me out with a replacement window runner so I can finish off the door glass and fit the door trims over the next week.  So close to being ready to drive  :burnout:
