69 Superbee
« on: May 22, 2007 - 01:03:53 PM »
A friend of mine bought a nice 69 Superbee last summer and is doing a little inventory reduction. He is a Chevy guy so he isnt interested in keeping it any longer. It has a 383 and a four speed trans. It appears to be a nice solid car. He recently had both quarters redone and they did a very nice job. Dash is extremly nice and interior needs covering. If your interested i can get you his number. I can also post the vin number if you would like. Car is located in Northeast Iowa. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank You, Brian

tuna,

Welcome aboard here.  That looks like a nice project car there. Do you have any idea if it's numbers matching? If so, that's a GREAT project.

Ok I have more info for you guys!! It is a numbers matching car.  The motor in the car is a running 383 that is not original. The good news is that he does have the original motor and the car will be sold with both!! Here is the plate if you want to decode.

V1F V8X END
A04 A62 G33 J25 M21 R11
F5 F5 H2G F8 806 090502
E63 D32 WM23 H9G 102036

VIN WM23H9G102036

He is asking $12500 for it. Remember both motors are included. Car is in good shape! Come and have a look at it. If you want to contact him his number is 563-928-6276 in the evenings. You can also call him at work 800-747-2505 ask for Dale. I may also be able to answer some of your questions. Thanks Again, Brian

The tag decodes for a 727 auto, not a 4 spd?   :clueless:

I could have wrote the numbers down incorrect. He told me them over the phone. The best thing to do is probably give him a call. Thanks for the correction if it is correct.

It looks to me like the 4 sp. was added by the looks of the console.  :dunno:

It looks like it was a column automatic too me originally. Also a bench seat car, and a triple green car. I'd be happy to get $12.5k for that too :money:
