DODGE REWARDS VISA CARD
« on: May 23, 2007 - 08:31:09 AM »
I have one and did not know if everyone is aware of it....its a points card from Bank of America...for every dollar you spend you get a point...

you can redeem for Dealer Dollar( gift certificates) and buy Parts ( like from the restoration catalog!) or use in the service dept or on a new car etc....

I use it a lot at my business and so I get lots of free parts!

I have a Chryslers rewards VISA, and my other half has a Dodge rewards VISA, and we have earned over the past few years 10's of 1000's of points and they are great. :2thumbs:

Looks like you get 2,500 points right off.  That's good for $25 at the Dealer.

Mine is the Jeep Visa, but the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep ones are all the same (Chrysler Financial Visa, issued by Bank of America).

You get 1% credit on all your purchases, which can be applied toward Chrysler merchandise (clothes, hats, collectibles...), or you can convert the credits to 'Dealer Dollars', for use at a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership.

I put some toward the purchase of my 300C, and I just recently used 'Dealer Dollars' to purchase torsion bars for the Challenger!   :jumping:

Not a bad program, if you are sure that you will be purchasing something from a Chrysler dealer!

man, scf100, you'd better be gettin some kickback from Chrysler if your sellin' their credit card online...

Yeah lemme rack up interest on $1,000 so I can buy a book that costs $10.  :)

Sorry - I won't even sell my employers credit card.  Credit is evil.

no kickback...just a good deal if you payoff your balance each month...I use mine for business paying my vendors so points rack up quick....I also have airline and other points cards....fly free 6-7 times a year!

I cash my points in for DEALER DOLLARS which is a gift certificate to use at the dealer....you can buy anything at the dealership /service depart/parts depart etc...with them......the cashier will probabaly not know how to use them first time since not a lot of folks know about the program so they call in to dealer hotline to figure it out.....

I had the Jeep rewards for quite some time.  I redeemed it for dealer $$$ and applied $750 toward the purchase of a new Liberty and then another $110 to the parts dept.  I have since dropped that card for a Disney rewards card and have earned over $900 in cash that I used when we went to Disneyland.  You have no idea how hard it is to spend $900 on merchandise, food, etc...  The thing with any rewards card is to find ones that double triple and even 5x the purchases.  In one month I racked up 10,000 points only charging $3500, not a bad deal.
The key is though to pay off the card each month.  If you do that it truely is "free money", if you don't, bend over.  The only thing I don't pay with my credit card is my mortgage, wish there was a way because I would have some mega points  :scared:

I have had my Dodge rewards Visa for a long time now and have received many dealer certificates and some really cool Chrysler gear.  I am starting to use my Mileage card more now so I can get free airline tickets to start travelling more.  :2thumbs:
