Interview with Lockheed Martin (update I got the job)
« on: May 23, 2007 - 09:31:11 AM »
I received a phone call yesterday from a representative at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale California telling me to rent a car and get a hotel room and come down for an interview Thursday morning. :woo: I leave this afternoon, wish me luck. Oh by the way the interview is for an engineering position.

Well the interview lasted almost 4 hours yesterday, and I think it went very well, especially since I was told it went well. The facility is awesome and there is tons of oppotuinities at Lockheed Martin, also at the end of the day they went over Lockheed's benefit packages, and I was told that I would have an answer in a few days. I would start off with 3 weeks paid vacation, the week between Christmas and New Years is off and also paid in addition to the 3 weeks, there are 5 or 6 other paid holidays during the year, I would get every other friday off, work 6am til 2:30 in the afternoon (miss most of the commute traffic), the people seemed really awesome, not to mention all the different benefit packages. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
