Hey Guys!
It's Ed from Carlisle Events. I know it's been a while but I had another show this past weekend and now that it's over I can give 100% to Chrysler. I'm glad to see so many posts about the show.
This is my first year managing this event so I'm not taking credit for the awesome shows in previous years. I have, however, attended every year as a participant and I was NEVER bored. In fact, it always seems like Sunday gets here before you know it and you're thinking about all of the things that you were going to do but didn't.
Here's a couple of this year's highlights:
THURSDAY: My car club, Mopar Rebellion, holds the Kick-Off to Carlisle which is a FREE cruise at the RESIDENCE INN starting at 4pm. This is the same Kick-Off that was held at the local Chrysler*Jeep dealer since 2000 but we had to move it to the RESIDENCE INN because we're out of room. Go to
www.MoparRebellion.com for more info.
ALL WEEKEND:
Don Garlits and Swamp Rat VIII
Shirley Muldowney (Fri-Sat)
Deanna Stevens and her 180+ mph '69 Road Runner
Chrysler Concepts (Challenger WILL be here)
Chrysler Test Drives
Dodge Motorsports NASCAR simulator (new this year)
Invitational Displays (see Dayclona's '71 GTX convertible - it's still under construction as I type this)

Ronnie Sox Foundation (Diane Sox will be here)
2000+ cars on the Show Field
1967 Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth dealership (I'll make a separate post on this later)
High & Mighty II
FRIDAY:
All of the above plus Drag Racing at South Mountain Dragway
SATURDAY:
All of the above plus Rock Crawling (anyone with a Jeep or other Mopar 4X4 can try it out - not responsible for carnage!)
SUNDAY:
All of the above plus:
Worship service
Awards Parade
I"ll try to be more active on here now that the other show is over but please remember that planning these shows is a full-time job and I'm going to be VERY busy now with the All-Chrysler Nationals. See you all in July!!!!
