I've been there. CP, if you have any questions about there I can give you a rundown of where to check out and where to avoid. Good luck on your decision.

There are a lot of early Toyota Landcruisers down there. I never saw any Mopars.

:dunno: Sorry CP, without Mopars it will be a dreaded hell instead of a warm paradise. If not closer to Ohio, then I strongly recomend good ole "Bama". Mopars, friends, sweet tea, friends, "            " root beer, friends, warmth, friends,.............and a lot of sweet southern belles who can charm the socks right off ya buddy. Now fill in the line CP, "Sweet home __________".  :2thumbs:  A no brainer.

For what it's worth, I work in Fayetteville, NC, right beside Fort Bragg. Most soldiers don't make a lot, but they have food, clothing and housing paid for, and a lot of them spend what they do make on their rides. All of the folks who've worked on my car here tell me that as soon as it's pay day the guys start bringing their cars out to get more good stuff put on them. The cost of living is low here, it's less than 2 hours from the ocean and about 5 hours from the mountains.

For whomever is restoring their car, we can agree to put CP up for 1 month at a time. It would give him a place to stay, and get our cars done. Sort of like a traveling restorer. I see a reality show on Discovery HD in the making. Where's Mike Rowe???

Im born and breed in Alberta. There is good and bad in all places im sure. We do have 4 very distinct seasons here, but thats one thing i like. Its 77 degrees here today :bigshades:, im diggin that a whole bunch. I guess im going to have to find a way to keep C.P. here. Niel is coming to my house in the morning to give me my spring tuneup :burnout:. So i for 1 want him to stay up north, but he can visit the south in the winter maybe?  :canada:

Hey CP, I told you how to do it once before. Take a flight to Tiajuana Mexico, then sneak across the border, and you're in. No long lines. No waiting. No cost. 20 million have done it so far.

Hey Al, If CP doesn't take you up on your offer, maybe you can consider one of the rest of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope that's up North a little bit. Below is my backyard and thanks.  The first photo is 20 minutes away (2nd closest beach) and the other river shot is 1-2 minute walk over my back fence. (I have no houses behind me, just river!) Doesn't interest me much but they shot some of the Lord of the Rings over there about 5 minutes from my house. It's around the same location I take my cars river photos.

Maybe we should start a business, "Rent-A-Neil?"  :lol2:
