I've got a '74...they don't want mine.

:working:  I think they are really gaining in popularity and wouldn't discount peoples interest in them just because it isn't the most popular year.  :icon16:

I wouldn't sell yourselves short with the 72-74's.  They too are very fine and desirable cars, and if a thief got a shot at taking it, they wouldn't pass on it.

People will steal anything if they think they can make a buck & if they think they can get away with it.  :nono: Then all they need is opportunity. I had a '73 Barracuda where it was broken into in order to steal a 15 dollar FM radio converter. That was in 1979. They ripped out the dash  for it. Then in 1985 (same car) the car engine was strippen down to the block in broad daylight. :swear: :banghead: You can't be too careful. It will take us all to look out for each other!! Hope & pray everybody has a great (and uneventful) time in Carlisle. :2thumbs:

My previous Cuda's driver's window was busted out sitting right beside my house. And I live in a good neighborhood. Nothing taken though. Nothing to take. Punk kids I'm sure.

Don't want to give anyone ideas, but should a person worry about posting pictures with the license plate numbers visible. :dunno:

I know that when I see a muscle car parked, I'm always checking out who is hanging around it. I hope some one will give my car a glance or two.
I was at Carlisle for 4 days. I do have an enclosed trailer I kept my car in at night. BUT, I wouldn't mind hooking up with a couple of guys and walking the grounds during the night for an hour or two. We could split it up. If it saves a guys car, it's worth it.
To catch one of these guys would be a homerun. :grinyes:
Once the word gets out that we are looking for these guys and sticking together, they will think twice, especially at multi day shows.

A lot of state DMV`s no longer give out personal info to anyone using a plate number but they are obviuosly visible to anyone driving on the street.

While I agree with you, many might be in my shoes and not have their car at the address the DMV has. Good luck getting at mine.  :smilielol:

Youl'd be surprised at the screens the DMV sees if they search for JSROB??????.   A girl there was helpimg me get a title for my BS23H2B car, so she put those numbers in. I saw a whole screen full of names and addresses in MO. of people with cars. Some licensed, some not.   Too bad mine didn't come up.    I could have looked some of those people up if I had a photographic memory.

I could hear it now:  Do you still have that OLD CAR?
Yes, in the barn, if you haul it away, you can have it.
Okay...
