Just received word that I'll be getting my car back on Wed 7/25.  Also, the car will be making its public debut at the Mr. Norms's Mopar Show at the Volo Auto Museum on 8/5.  The body shop doing the work is buying display space and will have seven cars there, mine among them.  Also there will be the '78 Road Runner that was in Hemmings a year or so ago (the same body shop did that car).  Anyone else going to that show?

Paint is done!

Yes, I know that the shop reversed the stripes on the rear quarters from side to side.  That's going to be fixed next week.

Looks like something the factory would have messed up.  Of course they had letters to read R/T or TA.

Even with the letters...

:iagree:  IMO, with the '71 style stripe, you need a more aggressive looking set of rims/tires.

Ya think it might be Rally time?  :clueless:

Thanks, everybody.  The whole time the car was in the shop I was second-guessing whether I should have put the vinyl top on it, but I'm really happy with it.  Of course, the first thing they did when they got it was lay out the vinyl top and drill the holes for the molding clips, so it was a done deal.

The car had 14" Rallyes on it when I got it, and I bought the 15" chrome Magnums last fall, so the Magnums will be on it for a long while.  I wanted to keep it stock but add some bling, hence the chrome Magnums.
