How much time and money you got for this job? Thats what you got to ask yourself. And then ask yourself if its worth doing it, isn't it worth doing it right?

The front end has alot more parts than just ball joints and tie rods. Just my  :2cents:

I know, which is exactly why I'm asking what parts are needed.

What are the symptoms that make you want to replace the front end? Is the steering extremely sloppy or just enough that you want to tighten it up? If you are driving around on the original 40 year old components, then rebuild the whole front end. If its just a little loose and you're on a budget then replace the inner and outer tie rods first. If that doesn't do the trick then the lower and upper ball joints, pitman and idler arm, and all the bushings.

It's the original 40 year old front end, for the most part.

I would recommend all the bushings lowr ball joints & outer tie rods minimum , I use Moog parts & energy bushings

I`m considering to do the same with my Vert. I`ve seen complete kits for sale on ebay and thinking of going with a urethane kit.
I believe they include strut rod bushings, control arm bushings and A-arm bushings.
Depending on how the cambolts for the A-arms looks maybe you need to replace them too,but I doubt that..
However, I didn`t replace them on my Fastback.

After all the time and everything else our cars have been though, You may want to just replace everything. Maybe one of the front end kits will save you some money.

Hey CP, what do you think of the PST kits? I got the supper polygraphite kit, hope it's OK? All polygraphite bushings except the lower control arm bushings (they are rubber). I also had them ship the pitman arm and got new pins for the lower arms. I am going to try to get this all in before July, along with calipers, pads, ect.

I have never used a PST kit , it costs a lot more for me to ship internationally than just buy  Moog & Energy  parts locally , PST seems to have a good reputation .
I coat the bushings & ecentric bolts with anti- sieze compound when assembling

Here is a link to the kit that I got. http://www.p-s-t.com/mopar/mofekpgs.html
You may or may not need all that stuff. They do have smaller kits in original rubber. http://www.p-s-t.com/mopar/mofekstd.html

I did my front end this last winter. I used the energy kit Chyro mentioned and moog balljoints and tie rods. I think it was about $300 for everything when I was done. The kit was $120.00 through Jegs. It also had the rear bushings for the leaf springs. It tightened up the car. I do have a minor squeak in the rear but can only hear it when getting in the car.
