70-71 chrome tail panel trim on 72-74?

Hello...I am restoring a 1972 Plymouth Cuda, and I was wondering if the chrome tail panel trim (that encircles the entire tail panel) for the 70-71 Barracuda will fit on the 72-74 tail panel?

I really like the look of the tail panel trim (especially on the 71 Nash Bridges Cuda).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Not even close. The chrome on '70 and '71s follows a flat ridge all around the tail panel but that ridge is missing on the later '72 to '74s.

Still, one of our members here made it work, I'll look around for the pic

Here it is..

His name is zimcuda and I guess he just centered where he wanted the chrome to go and started drilling holes.

Looks pretty cool though

Thanks 360cuda!  Since my '72 340 Cuda is going to be a cruiser, I don't mind customizing the look a little bit.

Concourse restorations are good for increasing the value of the car, but I want to have fun with mine!

Much nicer than the "Gran Coupe" trim typically on '72-'74 B'Cudas. :2thumbs:
