I've found Mancini Rcing to be fantastic at customer service, however I use them for parts sourcing. I've never bought an assembly from them. To be honest, in this case, I wouldnt expect them to warrantee the engine, as they only transferred the crate (part number) to you. But I agree not being contacted is bad regardless of the reason. Have you tried calling them direct? I call and have never had a problem. Buying a crate engine is just like getting a bum hand in poker sometimes. But you can't get mad at the dealer for MPs quality control issues. I would not expect much good from that engine, and I'd expect less help from MP on it. And you really should try calling Mancini directly, and trying to get the number of thier MP sales rep. And call with the problem, not a huge confrontational attitude. "you get more flys with honey..". Sorry for your situation. I hope it works out.
