No, In actuallity it sounds like you are now coming to your senses. That engine would have been an overkill for the street. BTW - You have some beautiful cars out there. I always did love the Eleanor's and you have done some nice ones.

You're crazy!  :screwy: :lol2: Na, your call but did you talk to Tim or your builder? The 540ci can be built to 525hp if you so desire, mine will be 600hp-615hp MAX. It was overkill IMO and why I started the "How much is too much" thread. Nice for the track but too much to enjoy on the street, I would see if you can choose a better cam for it myself.

Best of luck.

While it'd be something to brag about having over 700hp, the practicality of such an engine is overkill for a street brawler.  I don't think you're wrong in thinking you would be better off with a milder build, so best of luck getting it sold and getting something a little more mild. :2thumbs:

there never was a goal or objective to have BIG BA11S on da street

Speedomotive knew from the outset that this car was a Convertible, resto-mod, Power Tour-ing car with air conditioning power brakes and the features needing a motor with vacuum

had to purchase & install a vacuum pump also

but it is a H311 of a motor at a great price without having to wait 3 - 8 months

thanx for the positive comments

So, did you talk to Tim or your builder about "down sizing" the cam?!
Tim is only on 2 months build time now, I'd wait a year+ for the end result, definitely.  :worshippy

Speedomotive has ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE Customer Service so no - go for the business side

the builder, now departed from Speedo -  has started his own company - after sending 2 emails for explanation - he has NOT returned a response

Stay away from Cedarstrand Racing in California

probably will take a while to sell Hemi, researching "downsizing" and other options
