Being a ford fan also, those shelbys stock will run mid 12,s at 115 in the 1/4, they are very heavy cars, 4000lbs!!!!! but it does not take much to get these cars in the low tens, only a few bolt ons, exhaust, smaller blower pully and a good tune. There is one here where i live and he is runnin 10.80,s at 128 mph!!!! just imagin if these cars were 800lbs less :cooldancing:

Nice way to teach these guys a lesson in Mopar history, OC (formerly known as OS). :2thumbs: :worshippy :worshippy :worshippy

Lesson learned: One new Ford with a fair share of power still isn't a match for a Hemi-fied A-body Mopar, or Nicely worked over MoPar for that matter. :2thumbs:

I dunno, that is one serious mustang. I think that is what I like the most, it has the ability to eat most anything on the street and the kids probably never expected to meet up with such a much more serious 'Cuda. I bet it will be a LONG time before they mess with another mopar  :smilielol:

I'd like to know where these two 'young punks' got a $53,000 vehicle from? Daddy?

Nice going OC!  While I admire the Mustang for what it is (and the fact that ford has the nuts to build and sell them to the general public), there is NOTHING like a HEMI powered A body!  I'm sure that your maturity and ability to handle such a Beast had a lasting impression on them.  I often wonder what Daddy is thinking when he whips out the credit card to buy his spoiled rotten kid such a car?  "Will this finally stop the constant whining?  I can't take it any more!  Maybe his dumb butt will get himself killed in it!"

Actually they are going for over 60K with the dealer mark ups. My friend just bought one and I was on the list for a while before I took my name off. I just could not stand to give a dealer over 10K for a mark up. My parents retired from Ford and I do not want to sound like a Ford lover but that car flies for stock. I have been in a lot of the newer American performance cars but this car puts them to shame. He is also going to send the car out for another bump up so he can be ahead of the new wave of factory muscle cars. I am a car lover and if it was not for the mark up I would have a new Shelby instead of a new F150 FX4. They also do not give me my parent's factory discount on specialty vehicles so that helped me decide on upgrading my truck.

just my :2cents:

For 60 grand and mid 12's they can keep the car as far as I concerned....I guess you cant imagine if their 800lbs lighter or we could imagine all of our cars having this or that... just my  :2cents:

Nothing is cooler than old muscle cars....just driving around town gets you thumbs up wherever you go!

Great story OS
Who in their right mind would look at your car, and attempt to F with it?
I mean WTF is wrong with people.   :clueless: :1zhelp:
Lets hope this humbling experience doesn't send em to the local mopar dealer and convert them.  :nono:
You can have em over at the Ford camp   :roflsmiley:

Nice kill! I love to hear about those punks getting whipped by some real, classic muscle (most of them are my age)

Im newer here, so IDK what you have under the hood of your 'Cuda. 440? Hemi? Stroker of a 440 or Hemi?
