The level II rear suspension alone is $3,400. The front end (entirely new) is $7,500. The front and rear level II brakes are $5,700.
Really expensive setup, but it was built on a 4 post test rig to compete with modern cars.
On the rear you can run any brakes you want, not just ours.
On the front there are some other options as well.
The brakes we have are pretty over the top - 14" 6-piston w/ real two piece rotors and billet hats.
Generally the guys buying the suspension want our brakes as well.
The cost of the front (and rear) isn't just all the R&D, the components we use are all the real deal - custom valved high pressure monotube shocks, modern variable rate rack (not mustang II stuff), the K is made out of 1/4" wall aluminum mandrel bent, control arms and spindles are al aluminum w/ large modern sealed bearing, it comes w/ a bump steer kit so you can dial it in. Trailing arms are billet CNC'd, upper link is adjustable so you can set the pinion angle, panhard bar is adjustable, we're using hyperco springs for the coilovers. Swaybars are circle track pieces w/ aluminum arms and the front has a massive billet mount (you can see the mounts in the pic below). Geometry is completely optimized as well, both front and rear.
We just did an article with Car and Driver last week which should be out in their Sept or Oct issue. They were amazed the car had no bump steer at all. They were pretty nervous driving a stock car and pressing it much on the twisties.
Anyway, the entire setup is not run of the mill stuff and big differences relative to what else is out there (other than just the price) and the cars do drive like modern cars with that suspension.
