I bought a '71 Cuda clone with a 440 last fall. I was told that the engine had recently been rebuilt, but it never did run right. I coudn't figure out what was wrong, so I finally took it to a mechanic who said the carb was bad. He said it looked like whoever built the engine just put an old Holley on it. I took the Edelbrock carb off of my Challenger project car & put that on the Cuda, now it runs great. Now I just need to get the front end aligned, get new tires, and switch the 4.10 gears for something a little more higway freindly.
