The baby Bluebird that is, that decided to hop up onto my front porch railing this afternoon. I was about five feet away, then used some of that 12x Optical Zoom on my stock Canon S2-IS for a couple of snapshots

Yip, other birds (size makes no difference), squirrels, neighborhood cats all get loudly harrassed if too close to a nest or chick that can't quite fend for itself.
