Whoa!! Definitely steel trace material.

I'm thinking it's some variety of Tiger fish.

Eric, if you're referring to my post, there are Tiger Sharks and Tiger Fish. 
Both mean machines in their own right.

I received this along with two other shots of it which were too big to post. I can forward the email to someone if they want to see the other shots of it. I tried hunting down the source to find out more info, but no luck.
