What should be OK to pay for a used, but good, rear end centerpiece 3.23 gear - no posi...???

Average is about 100/125 good is 50. That's for a non suregrip

Also the casting number is important.

A numbers ending 742 is best but 489 is very good also.  741 is not as good because it has a small pinion gear shaft so stay away from those.

I know its from a 68 BigBlock Charger,???  But I'll let her check the casting..

She want $650 for it.. :clueless:

Nah...  Nothing rare or expensive about that one. Moparal was spot on correct in his guess.
Even $200 would be way too much and you can buy a comeplete rebuilt one with a new suregrip in any ratio you want for $650 ish

I got a complete 3.23 w/suregrip from a member on this board for less than that.  I wish I could remember but I think it was around $290 shipped (and it was heavy).
