My FC7 1971 Challenger R/T 383 4 Spd Shaker car (Plum Shakin') has been sold and taken to it's new home in Florida.  The new owner has tried to sign up on C-C.Com, but received an email saying his account needed to be approved... can an Admin or Mod help him finalize his registration?  His member ID is "Ludington1"...

The transaction went very smoothly, and the new owner Darren will provide a better home for the Chally...

Here are some pictures, mostly from the last week:

HEY MODS!!  :scared: This is a timely question regarding new members. I have a customer in Minneapolis who bought some Cuda doors from me. Of course I RECOMMENDED  C-C.C  He says no one got back to him, odd I thought . Sorry don't mean to hi-jack your thread....

Hopefully the new owner gets a chance to sign up here.  It'd be nice watching the car get built up/completed. (I'd assume there are plans for restoring it back to factory specs. ???)

What city in FL did it go to?  CC has a few FL members.  It may be good to get to know the new owner.

As far as I know the new owner plans to restore the car to original... hopefully he can get logged on soon and chime in.

My plans for the car were to gather the parts for a totally stock restoration, but store them and make a barely streetable monster out of it.  Only bolt on items would have been used, including a 500+ CID Six Pack wedge motor...  On the rear of the car would have been the phrase "You have been left PLUM SHAKIN' "... with PLUM SHAKIN' in the style lettering used on the Shaker decals to have the illusion of movement.

Oh well... I still have plenty of other unfinished plans to work on!

Gary - It would have been a neat addition to your Mopar fleet.  When you first moved to the Fort Worth area, I thought you might be interested... but with your new job and new house you had your hands full.  It would have been nice to see it stay in the area, and see it at shows like I see other Mopars that I sold years ago.

I am glad it went to a good owner, even if he is 1400 miles away...

The new owner lives in south Florida... maybe he will post the name of the city when he gets logged on.

As I mentioned above, south Florida is all I can say at this time... Darren will probably elaborate...

BTW, I received a message that the Challenger arrived safely on Monday!
