Yupe, if it's not complete, I'll send it back and look elsewhere - no dramas. There work looks good from what I've seen, we'll double check and restore it if necessary but yeah....will wait and see I guess.

I'm living outside USA and I know how much extra money and time we have to spent to get cars & parts. I really approciate your project - that car takes some big $$$$$!!!

Thanks Pepe, yes it's true and I agree that we have to work a little harder to get parts but, it also makes these cars that much more special outside of their homeland being rare in these/our countries. Not saying the cars in the homeland (USA) are bad, definitely not, just outside of the US they grab more attention and turn more heads IMO.

I can only imagine what that car would do as far as turning heads in your neck of the woods.

I pretty much can't drive my Challenger anywhere without somebody talking to me about it (and confusing it for a Charger!) and that's in northern California.

They're rare here, too...

My Challenger is called a CHARGER too, here in the big city suburbs of St. Louis.   Funny thing is that it says CHALLENGER on the front, rear, and both sides of my car.   It seems like the hoosiers would read the emblem before they open their mouths. Maybe they can't read.

P.S.   "HOOSIERS" here are low life losers.   HOOSIERS are also a name for anyone from INDIANA.  I don't know why they want to be called that name too, but they do.

Hey guys, just letting you know I had Steve (my shipper/inspector) confirm what I already knew that the 71 Cuda I was looking at is as good as it looked in the photos. Just heard back from Steve about 1 hour ago then called to confirm I would purchase the car! Can't wait, Should be here in 7-8 weeks I'm guessing as I collect a few other parts this may vary. As it has no engine Steve will be declaring it as a $19K car to save dollars on GST. Clear title and bill of sale of course. It's an orignal BS Cuda 383/727 car (has non-#'s in at present) and is a California car.

It will be minus: the 383 engine, TF-727 trans, rallye wheels (but on crap rollers), A/C, and the lower dash A/C piece but he'll throw in a mint standard control piece to fill the gap. She's as straight as an arrow with no rust, bubbles or bondo. It's 100% complete and has a perfect grille which is the main piece of the car as a NOS one will set you back a cool $4,000+ USD so it's always a good thing to get a car with a mint grille. Anyhow, I'm bloody over the moon.

Yup, seen it. Very nice car indeed. If I hadn't of purchased the one I have now I still wouldn't have purchased it for one simple reason. I like to know what level & standard of work went into it. Down here, I can see what is happening basically 24/7 and call the shots. While that resto looks fine, I'm very picky and like to have peace of mind knowing the entire car was pulled apart & restored. But, that price is very, very, good and a triple Black 4-speed to boot!
