Thanks for the info, NZ.  Didn't realize that about 'Cudas!

That pic you just posted is cool.  The car looks almost chrome!  :o

Back to the car....

My father used to own a triple black T/A challenger and it was no doubt one of the most menacing looking muscle cars he ever owned.  Since then I have always wanted a black mopar.  What could be badder then a a hemi cuda with billboards?  An all black a12 car would be pretty sweet for second place

1.  All black e body with a hemi #1

2.  Black a12 car with red or black interior

Sounds like an awesome car. I think for me that would be third favorite Black car - triple black T/A.
First for me is the 71 Cuda, second would be a 68 Charger then the T/A all  of which pure bad ass. :grinyes:

Super Blue 72 - No worries mate, kind of weird huh. The Challenger reading 426 Hemi the Cuda just reads Hemi Cuda. I guess it's just one of those weird E-Body differences thing. Ps: Love that avatar mate LOL Now STAY there!

Already Black with the correct wheels and shaker. Plus an added option  BS27.
Maybe he'll trade for a Blue '71 with white billboards.

Thanks Rob but I have seen that car posted several times in the Black 71 Thread, the owner MONC is a great guy who loves his black Mopars. Nice car but I have never been a rag top guy, to me, it doesn't scream muscle like hardtops do. I'd have one if I had all the other hard tops I wanted and it would just be for a cruiser as that's what they were built do do. Thanks for the heads up anyhow.

Thanks JS27. I agree, the car at present does look very smart. One of the best shades of blue I have seen on an E-Body. But, I have always wanted a triple Black car and from day 1, this project, was always going to be a TB car.

I was trying to guess "OM" too, not being a "texter". What could have hit him?

OLD MAN
OLD MAID
OUR MOM
OUR MIDGET
OUR MONKEY
ORANGE MOOSE
OVERHEAD METEOR

"WTF?"   I know what that means.........

Um, thus far it's shipping out of LA on the 12th of July. I have collected all the parts needed and they will ship with the car helping me save precious money on shipping. I probably saved a good $2,500 USD+ on shipping.

So, on the 12th the following items (8 including car) will be shipping to NZ.
I'm bloody over the moon and can't wait to get this project started! :woohoo:

- Project Car: 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda
- Keisler Automotive: TK0-600 Manual Conversion Kit
- Keisler Automotive: Steel Lakewood Scatter Shield
- XV Motorsports: Level 1 Suspension Kit
- XV Motorsports: Hydro Boost Brake System
- XV Motorsports: Tilt Steering Column
- Dr-Diff: E-Body 9-3/4" Dana, 3.54 Gears & Rear Disc Brakes
- Funk Brothers: Complete 1970-71 Heater Control Box Setup
