72 Challenger Firewall Holes / What Belongs!?
« on: November 22, 2003 - 02:33:13 PM »
Can anyone email me pictures of a 72 Challenger firewall with A/C?  I'm restoring the car and it's had a ruff life.  There are quite a few holes in the firewall and I want to be sure that I don't weld in the ones needed! ???

I have a factory assembly manual, body/chassis service guides and none of them show what goes through where on the firewall!

Thanks!
Here's a link to a picture of my swiss cheese!

here's the whole thing

Pretty sure this car was not messed with very much
I remember seeing it sitting in 1986 in someones backyard and almost got it then for $75.00
but the guy chickend out. Ended buying it in 1997 for
$250.00
It's an original 340 B'CUDA that no one drove since 1981
but it had a rough life and the back needs some panels
replaced
The petty blue is the original color

Here are some photos from my '73 Challenger with what holes I have.....A few pictures show a lot of clutter on the firewall, but amazingly, all the holes that are supposed to be there are and there aren't any extras  (until after the sandblasting).

Last one.... ::)  I appologize for having such crappy shots of this area.  But between 360Cuda's photos and my nice, clean one, you should have a good idea as to which ones should be there.
