Jack of all trades, Master of none.
I am too tired to list all the jobs I have had through the years. Somewhere about 20 years ago a Master Jeweler taught me the trade. I work at my wifes jewelry store sometimes. Usually only at Christmas or when she gets in a bind. My "paying the bills" job is working in an underground mine. I have worked in the mining industry for 15 years. I started in another mine running miners. I then went to another mine and worked "conventional" drill and blast mining for 3 years. That was fun, we got to blow shlt up everyday  :ylsuper:  The company went mechanized mining and I ran remote control Joy miners for about 8 years. I now work on the conveyor belt systems for the same mine. We have 50 miles of belt moving ore from where it is mined to the Refinery.  Nothing fancy but it puts food on the table.

It totally depends on the cost of living where you are. From what I know, cost of living in the US is comparatively lower than Europe. Just like living in NC or WV would be much cheaper than living in Beverly Hills, CA. :)
Hi ,you got that right Willhaven, as an example i can tell you the prices and taxes on cars are totally ridicilous, New Ford,Chevy,Dodges full size trucks is about 85-100k as 2 seater and as 5 seater about 140-165k... :faint: Everything bigger than 2 liters of engine displacement is insane pricewise...
In 1990 a new Corvette zr1 cost about 200k here... :scared:

May retire, Chryco and I are kicking around some ideas and might open a speed performance shop and Speed performance parts store.

Making money wasnt hard for me, trying to keep my mind busy has been a challenge.

When I look back in hindsight, I am a nobody, and was always told by my parents I would never amount to nothing.
