I'm being serious, if you could please find the shipping costs to california, zip 91709 i would greatly appreciate It. I know that i am new to the forum, but I have been looking to buy my father a challenger (his first car) for his 25th wedding anniversary, and this group of guys on this board seamed cool.
Thanks,
Cody

A car from CA to sw PA ran 1100... I'd guess at least 1200 from NJ.  I think gas prices are actually a little lower now, but maybe I'm wrong.

$1100, $1200 to ship from Jersey to California sounds about right to me, on an open trailer. As was suggested, check out auto-shippers on Google. Many give you a quote online, or you can call them.

I shipped a '74 Challenger from Auburn CA to Chesapeake VA about 6 months ago on an open carrier (10 car carrier) and it was door-to-door service. It cost me $975.00 bucks. Not a bad deal considering I couldn't have driven that distance & paid for gas, meals and lodging for that price!! The car sounds like a very very good price considering now folks want $5,000.00 for a rolling shell!! :scared:

I think your price is to high. Not trying to be rude but, i would not give more than 3000.00 for it.
