Well, sent the car out for some suspension work this week. Put in all new front end parts, new torsion bars and had the for link re-done properly.  The original builder of the car had some questionable engineering skills and as a result the rear had almost no travel and was basically bound up.  I could not get here to sit level no matter what I tried and then on my first real blast down the road, one of the 4-link brackets folded up and pushed the passenger rear tire into the wheel lip  :banghead: A local Mopar Nut, Miller Performance, total redid the four link, added a much better center link that actually allows the rear to travel up & down, and reinforced the brackets by properly boxing them.  After that it went over to the tire shop for an alignment, two new front tires, and the state safety inspection.  Drove her over 100 miles yesterday and got plenty of looks and stares :2thumbs:

That's why I went with it - I've had all of the other colors and thought this would come out nice on a Pro Street.  Afterall, it's still a real 1970 Mopar color

I knew I'd seen that color before.  Here's a real six-pack car I've seen a few times round the Twin Cities I took a pic of.  Just plain SICK for a stock car.

way 2 go gary, you do build some fine cars, sold the 540 hemi, now selling the billet specialties serpentine system, 833 & gear vendors, Tti headers, etc

going with a 6.1 hemi, a guy in CO is getting an awesome deal $23,000 + 710 hp hemi for $18,000

back to the drivetrain - less challenger and a year ago - "Back To The Future"

Thanks for the compliments everyone  :icon16:

I'm almost done with her now - here's a couple of pics of the interior.  Last pic is of a model my 6 year old and I did togther in my shop. We brought the car to a show last night and made sur ewe brought the model too

NZ - She's got a nicely warmed over 440 under the hood.  Don't know anything about it internally as the owner that built the car had it done.  It's a 1967 block with cast iron heads.  I've added a Holley Street Avenger 770 carb, aluminum radiator, and ceramic coated hedman headers.

I can say this - she lays down a nice set of 16.5" rubber with no trouble... :burnout:
