Is that 13.5 on windshield your dial-in time?

Ya,13.5 was a dial-in.The car runs 13.3`s -13.7`s depending on conditions/temp with a best of 13.26.That was before I had the heads ported and changed from a .480/292 to a .508/292 Mopar cam and I didn`t really get to the track this year to tune the carb and timing.I am hoping for high 12`s when I get the tune-up dialed in.I am also working on a AAR hood and might buy a fiberglass front bumper for some weight savings and a few more tenths.Not too bad considering the stiff suspension more siuted for cornering than the drags.

SCHWEET!! That's about the stage that my 'Cuda is in!! Only... engine wise, I'm looking at about 400 crank HP outta a slant six... hope to run mid 13's or so... assuming I can keep the rear end and trans in the car and actually get the tires to hook!!

Getting these cars from the low 13's into the 12's is a major milestone.

I found also that the existing fuel delivey system needed to be upgraded at that point too.

I went from the 5/16 diameter lines to 3/8th, a Mallory electric fuel pump and high flow filter.
Those mods helped me over the hump.

Also I replace my orange box (ECU) with FBO's ignition box. Believe it or not, That change alone is worth 2-3 tenths. Well worth the 100 bucks it costs.

I`m running a 5/16" line with a Holley mechanical pump.I have beed using a 650 dp but I feel I need more carb so I picked up a 780 at a swap to rebiuld and try.Never heard of FBO,who are they?

FBO is a company owned and ran by a local racer named Don Gould in Beaverton Oregon.
They recently put their newly developed ignition system on the market.
Their system consists of a high output coil, newly patented ECU and Cap & Rotor.
You will notice the difference right away.

The system is just a quick plug in and go. Everything looks totally stock.

I saw your message regarding the install of an electric fuel pump.  I have a 340 going in a 68 cuda.  It will have a dual exhaust system going out th eback of the car.  I was curious to know where you installed the fuel pump given that you want to keep it close to the tank, but not too close to the exhaust.  Some folks also mention the addition of a fuel sump, but I am not sure if I really need that.  Car will have about 525HP when its ready.

Any suggestions would be helpful

I bolted a bracket to the frame rail on the drivers side, right next to the gas tank.
There's just enough room to install the pump between the leaf spring and exhaust pipe.
