Yeah. I also see some cudas on ebay all the time. Looks like some people buy these cars only to get more and more money :walkaway: :swear:

:iagree:  I know that I listed my 72 Cuda back when I was looking to sell it, just to see what the interest was, and also to get some advertising for it.  I listed the reserve and buy it now a little bit higher than I thought I would get, and actually sold it off ebay as a result of the listing.  Bought my current Challenger the same way......avoided all those fees that way as well.

I too have noticed some of the same E body cars on Ebay over and over.   There are about 3 Challengers on there all the time, including one Burnt orange RT/SE challys.   I think the other one is a limelight that get replayed like "Gone with the Wind".    Seems like some of the higher $$$ cars have retreated in price on the show/street circuit while some are holding on hoping to get their price.

Take a look at the Completed listings. You'll see, very few Mopars actually sell on Ebay. It's usually just guys playing games, trying to overinflate the prices. It gets very boring. Can't wait till prices adjust...

A sure sign they are scam are whem the seller says "pre-appoved bidders only CONTACT ME FIRST or you bid will be cancelled" then provides a non-ebay e-mail address.  They also don't have a 'Buy it Now' button but something like 'BIN $9500' and if you look close you can see the contact info is a photo-copy and looks like something from a ransom note!

Just checked and the e bay item was taken off e bay....

Love the "ransom note" line :roflsmiley:

I also like when they say they're selling a car and they're in Wisconsin, and the pictures of the car on e bay will show sand and palm trees!!
Or the other classic,,,,they're selling the car like now (in July) and the photo has the car sitting on or near snow, or in a autumn like setting...

Not too many cars actually sell.  Of the ones that do meet reserve, many buyers don't actually send the money!  It's just entertainment for alot of goofs.
