I know some of you had mentioned to take out the whole dash...does this include the glovebox etc... but once the dash is out what do you have to send in to the MFG to get recovered??? I heard the core but does all the trim have to come off and the glove box door etc???

When you take the dash out the glove box and wiring harness all come with it. There are a few things you need to disconnect, such as A/C harness, fuse block, speedo cable, etc. Then the whole thing comes out. Once you have the dash out you can acess the speed nuts that hold the pad on. Some of them are hard to get at some are easy. If you have A/C then some of them are a little harder to get out and you may need to take some of the ducts out.

Then once you get all the speed nuts removed from the underside, circled in yellow (I may have missed one or two  :icon16: ) you can pull the pad from the frame. The pic from bellow is the picture of the old and new dash pad. That is what you need to send in to have redone, and nothing more. Anything that can unbolt form the pad should come off, unless you want to donate it to someone. The glove box door is part of the dash frame.

You might be getting confused with the term dash pad frame, and dash frame. The dash pad frame is the metal core sorrounded by the soft dash material. The dash frame is what holds everything dash related together.

Heres some other threads about this.
