The mag idea is awesome.
What would you guys think if the Cuda could be parked with the Garlitz and Muldowny race team and the keys handed to Don there. This would be on Friday AM so some of the other members could be present too? I have some other possibilities too.

I agree. This is why I'm asking before anything is commited. Talked to Don Sr., who was very attimate about Don Jr driving and enjoying the Cuda all weekend. He wasn't sure if Don would be in until late Thurs or early Friday AM. I talked with a very helpful party at Carlisle events and he assured me he would try to do anything he could to make this a very memmorable event for Don. They have no intention to take the spotlight away from what we are doing, as Cuda-Challenger.com, here. Trust me Ed is willing to bend over backward for this presentment. He totally understands. This is a positive. :2thumbs:

Well it obvious we can't present the car to Don until he arrives. If he can't get in until Friday morning what you mention Tony would be a bang up way of doing this. I guess it all depends what time and what day Don will arrive. Even if it's so very late Thursday night when he arrives it may be best to wait until Friday first thing. As long as any and all c-c.c members will be allowed immediate close access to Don and his Cuda it can still be a personal experience for all of us, that is what I personally don't want to be removed from the presentation.  :2cents:  :2thumbs:

What time do the gates open on Friday? If Don doesn't get in until late Thursday or early Friday you could give him a little while to clean the road grime off and maybe present it around 10-11?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - take lots of pictures

I'm game for either Thurs Night or Fri morning.  I can't wait much longer.  Even my wife is amazed at this gesture.

The 10 to 11 Am slot was my thinking also.

I'm even getting calls on the local level about this project. It's unbelievable and sometimes overwelming  because of the unselfish giving and fellowship happening here. I can't wait for Carlisle! :woohoo:

Too early IMO. Let everybody get in the gate and settle in first. Traffic is horrible.  Then I say like right before 1 pm, we all spread out first and not everybody all at once go together as a group from the CC tent. (too fishy) Then rendezvous to the meeting place the car will be. Don showing up in the last group. A cell phone system could be used to keep everything co-ordinated. That way he is in the last to show and then we all move in from the perimeter areas lastly. Then pull the cover.

Man this is gonna be awesome! I sure hope someone has a digicam to capture the moment. I could not fathom something like that happening to me and I bet the emotions are going to be at a very high level for everyone there. If I had to pick one moment I would like to see personally it is the look on Don's face as he is driving the car for the first time  :picture:

It was suggested to call Don Moore to the Garlitz and Muldowny display over the loud speaker. He doesn't know all the members by face and if they call his name I'm sure we will all be curious as to why and head that way. :2thumbs: :smilielol:
