What's a good creeper?
« on: June 20, 2007 - 11:41:46 AM »
I recall seeing a few years ago a creeper with big pneumatic tires on it, so it would roll over hoses and stuff more easily, but I can't find a sign of it now.  It wasn't The Bone, that much I'm sure of.  Any ideas? Baring that, what's a good creeper?

I think Rev got a creeper for Mother's day a few years back. Maybe she has input?  :smilielol:  :smilielol:

Mike, that sounds something like the riding lawn mower my wife got for her birthday.  :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol:

I have The Bone and if you're taller than 6'2" it's probably going to be to small.  Designed for the average size person and yes it is alittle difficult to get out of.   :grinyes:

I like the Bone creepers , the wheels are large & do go over stuff on the floor & rthe wheels are covered so you don`t roll over you shirt etc

Let me ask this about The Bone.  It looks like the sides are low enough that, instead of going over an air hose, the hose would catch agains tthe side and you'd be pushing it along the floor.  Is this correct?

I have used my friends Bone creeper, very comfortable for long use. I think it would not go over an air hose that easy, but with the large wheels it will go over large gaps in the floor, bumps, ect.

The "Bone" creeper looks like the Laz-E-Boy of shop equipment.

Perhaps it is hard to get out of due to the fact it is a 14 on a comfort scale of 1-10.
