Kick down locked position..???

Mi kick-down arm is locked to follow the trotle at all times, this aint rigth - rigth..
The car drives nice, shifts perfect, but will it give me problems..

This is tough to explain, but it seems you are OK here if you are happy with the shifting.

The kick-down linkage needs to be far enough forward that you can feel the shifting, but not so far forward, that your engine is shifting at 3000 RPM.  There should be a way to play with the length of the rod, so you can experiment. I know from mine, just 1/4 inch makes a huge difference. Again, I think you are worried about nothing, but this is something you can play with in the future if you'd like.

It is dangerous that way though because if the kick down linkage sticks all the way down,the throttle on the carb sticks too!

cowboy,you need this bracket to bolt to the side of your linkage to set your kick down linkage lever "ratio" more correctly.That way it does not have to be so "tight" like it is. You also need the chrysler throttle extension stud and nut shown on the PDF file install instructions on the Summit web site link.

OK, - got it  -  allmost..

I could use a pic. of the rigth set up..

Carb. is of, and I got a lot of small pieces in store, so now I wanna try to do it rigth...

as long as the kick down & throttle are both fully open at the same time you will not limit carb opening & you will have enough pressure to keep the tranny alive

Here is a pretty good shot of my '73's kick-down...don't know if the earlier models are exactly the same!?!?!

OK.. Gas and kick-down at the buttom at the same time, - and a spring to get the kick-down forward...
