Just wondering but, I once read on the back of a business card "the best compliment a customer can give is the recommendation to another" or something like that. My question is to the moderators. At least I think it would be to them. Has anyone ever considered creating a board listing the companies we deal with on a regular to semi-regular basis and our opinions of them. My concerns, as well as most I would imagine, is when your getting into a deal over the phone with a company you know little about usually involving large amounts of money and not being sure what the outcome will be. I have dealt with a very little number of companies because to my fortune the stock stuff was almost all there. Most of the stuff I needed was primarily after market stuff that I could get from Summit and Jegs. Both of which I hold in very high regards.
Sorry for the length, but if the board were built in a was the the subject was just the name of the company and the rest was comments, opinions and experiences, I think it would keep the topic manageable. If someone sees the company already listed, don't add another new topic just add to the existing. Anyone that is interested in researching the past experiences of that company could prepare themselves for a possible issue. Or maybe reassure themselves of a fantastic experience. Or maybe just avoid then all together.
My intentions are not to bash anyone. But Customer Relations is what I do for a living and I try my best at being the best I can at it. If I build good rapport with that customer, there is nothing better! I think those companies that earned it should should get commended for it. And those that fall on the negative should be forced to let's say sleep in the bed they made?
Any takers?
