Been told nice Cadlilac.... :roflsmiley:

No really...Mainly Challenger, then they guess Cuda.  When it comes to the year, they ALWAYS guess 71 first.  :screwy:  :screwy:

Most say, "Hey, nice Charger"

While on the '07 Power Tour, we had parked next to a beautiful Black Cuda.  There was a man with two young boys walking by holding their hands.

One of the boys said, "Hey dad, look at the Cuda."

The father turned and glanced at the car, only to respond, "No son, that is a Camaro."

The boy paused and then replied, "No Dad, it is a Cuda." And the father would not reply.   :faint:

It is funny to see a young boy know more about a car than his father.   :2thumbs:

Here is a pic of the Cuda

Well apparently I struck a nerve!  At least I'm not alone...

The Challenger is always mistaken for a Charger, even among people who have known me for 20 years.  When I had my 71 Javelin it was mistaken for a Shelby Mustang.

And I have to agree with this too.. friends I've had forever always ask  "so how's the charger doing?"

I've had the Challenger over 20 years yet some close family members still refer to it as a Charger. :banghead:

I guess we should all feel very bad for E-Body owners with Go-Mango/Hemi orange cars.  :lol2:
Dukes of Hazard would get annoying after a while Charger not just a charger the GENERAL LEE!! :bananasmi :lol:

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Tell me about it!   :dupe:

"Hey, is that the "General Lee?""
"Hey look, its the "General Lee!""
"I think it would be cool if you painted your car like the "General Lee""
"You need a big "01" on the side, like the "General Lee!!!""

 :pullinghair: :stomp: :swear:

Other than that, I've heard GTO, and Charger.

When I had a Challenger, people alway thought it was a Charger also.  Once I was driving a '71 billboard 'Cuda I used to own and a carload of girls pulled up at the light and asked if it was a Mustang, when I told them it was a 'Cuda they said "What's that?"

NZ440R/T and torredcuda nailed it.  My Challenger is Hemi Orange and people CONSTANTLY ask me if I'm going to make a General Lee out of it.  Of course, it is still in the 'project' stage right now, but people should still be able to tell the difference.  Most people call my car a Charger anyway...I just don't understand that.

When it's done, I expect more people will call it a Camaro.  The Challenger looks more like a Camaro than a Charger!

I have a friend with a Dart...When we take it out, people always compliment his 'Nova'.

Wow I feel stupid now.  Family members would ask me how is the Charger coming and I'd say I haven't done any work to it lately.  The next time I'd see them they'd ask if I made any progress yet and I would say no I have been working on the other car.
Then when I go out in it (the Challenger), everyone is like I thought you said you hadn't done any work to it?
I guess that is the drawback from having both a Challenger and Charger, people confuse the two, then I get confused as to which one they are talking about (they both are orange so it doesn't help).

Now I understand better, when they say Charger, they actually mean Challenger, the mystery is solved. :clapping:

And I also agree, people always guess 1971 for year, what happened that year that everyone remembers, I'd be guessing 1969 all the time  :roflsmiley:

1973 (OO/=====\OO) <---SOLD
1997 (O|||||O) <---SOLD

Charger, occasionally a Barracuda...someone should put a big confederate flag on the roof of their orange challenger along with "01" decals on the doors just to see if it would make a difference :poopoke: :poopoke:

Ummmmmmm, A piple of scattered parts in the garage :smilielol:

Hey, you beat me to my response! :swear:

 :cheers: :grinyes: :cheers:

Though mine isn't too badly scattered, it's still not a complete car as of yet. :bricks1:

Mine does get referred to as a Charger all the time by family members as I used to have the '69 rust bucket sitting next to it before I finally got rid of it.
