My wife and I had the good fortune to get FREE tickets and pit passes to the inagural Iowa Indy Corn 250 yesterday courtesy of Penske Racing and Marlboro. The tickets were 75.00 each and the pit passes would have cost us 15.00 each. When we received our tickets we got the pit passes, and 2 black mesh back-packs filled with goodies. Mine had a new pair of Bushnell binoculars, camera, Penske racing hat, lighter and some other things I haven't checked out yet. All FREE!!! I got to meet Rusty Wallace (with picture), and Al Unser Jr. We watched the race with some friends at the RV parking on the back straight-away where the drinks and food were free. We were dead center mid-track!! I had never seen Indy cars before and until you experience it live you have no idea just how fast these cars are. They were making the 7/8 mile oval in 17 seconds! I'm sure some of you watched it live on ABC, and it was a great finish. If Marco had had a couple more laps he might have caught Franchitti. All in all a great day.
