Todays mission
« on: June 25, 2007 - 06:58:43 PM »
While on my mission today helping my daughter search for another car for her,,, (Poor girl wants a mitsubishi eclipse gt)  stopping at probably every dealership in the metro area I ran across 3 pretty cool mopars,,,, One dealer had a 70 Roadrunner, white with tan interior, and another dealer had a sweet looking 65 sport fury convert 383  and a 73 duster /6   I wanted them all but that wasnt what i was shopping for today :( But if this interests any one I'll send you the phone numbers to the dealers).  I know the fury and duster will be at Carlisle because the I spoke with the owner at the dealership and he told me he's taking them there.

And if she wants something faster, you can build her a small block for it.

I have never bought a foreign car but I did drive around my Mom's Mitzu several times. I can definitly say your daughter could do alot worse then one of those new Eclipse.

They are heavy (about 3500 pounds) lots of airbags and actually not that fast= safe.

I bet the cops follow them around though....

Doug, we had to just give our daughter my wifes Neon (well she took it over), when we got another car. And she will tell you "That's my car now!".  :angelwings:

Up to a certain age, you are correct. But I have found that the nursing home residents are pretty easy to deal with.  It don't take much to make em happy........   lol      :roflsmiley:     :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:     :smilielol:   :stirpot:    :cooldancing:

Doug,

Do you have any additional info on the Duster?  I've been looking around for one for my son for his birthday.

Any info would be appreciated.
