It's funny, but nobody has ever asked me that question. I would definitely sell, and at a fair price too.  :dunno:

Iv'e been asked a few times about the T/A but nothing I would call serious. I did have a fellow come up to me in Carlisle in 05 and ask if I would sell the T/A. I simply told him no. Had a tough decition a year ago with a 30k offer for the Road Runner. Some friends of mine know this fellow and the money is not a problem as he has plenty. In the end the wife and I turned it down. Now a new development with it, my wifes brother wants the RR and has offered to go with us the the local Dodge dealer and pay for a new Challenger in trade for the RR. We havn't decided on what to do yet. I want to see the production 09 Challenger before we say yes or no.  :dunno:

At one time during the 10 years my car sat in the backyard I told 2 guys I wanted no less than 3500 for it. Thank goodness they both never returned. As it is now I do not ever intend to sell either of my Challengers but I am also a realist. If someone offers an insane amount he can have it. I have blood, sweat and tears in my cars and after getting the Mopar fever a couple of years ago, noticing that all the cars I knew of before were gone, I decided then and there to hold on to what little I have. I am in it for the joy of the drive, reliving simpler times and cruising a kick a$$ car. Everyone loves a thumbs up but I just love the cars, not the attention they get.

This is a great topic.  When Dan built our Lemon Twist AAR Cuda years ago we had a guy buy it and he saw another Cuda that Dan had just finished.  This Cuda was a triple black, 4 speed 340 1971 Cuda.  When we bought the car it did not have an engine so we put a 426 engine in it.  The guy asked how much for it and we said it is not for sale.  The guy kept calling us and asking about it and we kept saying it's not for sale.  We delivered the AAR to the guy and he asked again if it was for sale and this time we thought we would just give him a really high price and he wouldn't want it.  Guess what,  he said sure and we wound up delivering this car to the same guy.  The guy still has the triple black Cuda and he said it is his favorite car.  He has about 13 1970-71 Cuda's now.  The black Cuda he bought from us is the only one that is not an original Hemi Cuda.  This guy was into Fords and Chevys before he met us.  Now all he wants is E-bodys.
I would hate to see Blofish go but if someone offered a ridiculous price Dan would just build another one.
When we first got the B-7 Blue AAR we had a guy call us wanting to buy it before it was restored.  We gave him a price but he decided it was more than he wanted to pay.  Now if he wants it the price is a lot more than what it was before.

I have only had one person ask me and I replied, "You don't have enough."  If I had to set a price, I could live with $50k, that way I would have another one with a Hemi.   :2thumbs:

I'd sell anyone of my cars for the right offer except the convertible.  I've had it since '79 and it has just become part of the family.  I'd put a 318 back in it and drive it daily if I could only afford 1 car.

I have gotten to attached to to mine. I bought the T/A in '90 and the Road Runner the first time in '91. I had the RR for 5 years and sold it. About 5 years latter I bought it back and restored it. I don't think there is enought money to get the T/A, but I could be wrong. I'm very attached to the RR also but this trade for a new Challenger may be to tempting if we like what we see in the showroom!  :clueless:

After having mine running again after being parked for 20 years I have been driving it a lot. I have had quite a few people ask if it was for sale and I just always said no. Have owned it since 1977 so I dont think I will ever sell-but you never know?  Lately when people ask me instead of just saying no I ask what they would give for it. Most people really try to low ball you with rediculous offers--hoping I dont know what I got and that I'm a moron or something. I usually just smile and drive away.

I do`nt get any serious offers to buy my `72 but a lot of people ask how much it`s worth or how much I`d sell it for.I`ve had it since `82 and plan on keeping it so any offer to buy would need to be twice what it`s actually worth for me to consider selling.
The `69 Barracuda IS for sale-$7000 or B.O.
