I agree with MadMax440 about the eyebrows.  I've always thought those looked pretty good, especially in black.  But, it's your car and you should do what makes you feel good with it.

I do agree with you about the mirror and the rear spoiler.

I really don't want a re-pop, but since I have not been able to find any real 1970 mirrors ( many people claim to have real 70's mirrors ) i think i,m ready to make the purchase.  Question my driver door ( interior driver door ) doesn't have a hole for the mirror remote, should I just not hook it up.  Was this an option from the factory, why doesn't my car have a hole in the interior door panel . This darm mirror is raising my blood pressure.  To make things worse I keep the car at work so I get to walk by the car about 50 times a day, and every time I pass it I think of that lousy mirror and trunk fin.  Just a little rant, I am very lucky that when I turn the lights on every morning I get to see a piece of detroit history.

WElcome Plum,,, definately got a nice lookin car there,,, I know the mirror issue bugs you but hang in therw, The ones you want will come your way,, bet you can find it at Carlisle.
Get the mirror/spolier tension out of your system with a  or two or ten

There was a little raised pattern on the backside of my interior door panel that indicated where to put the hole for the remote...you will need a backing bracket (not being reproduced that I know of) made or acquired & a trim bezel/nut that does not come with the mirrors.  New nuts are available which will work but are not correct for the '70 which is a slimmer style.
    Just about any OE chrome mirrors you find will need re-plating which will cost as much as the re-pops + the cost of the used mirrors. If you want painted OE's are fine.

Very nice looking car you have.

The mirror issue is probably related to your car coming with the standard manual adjust mirror. My car came with both mirrors painted from the factory. I have the hole because mine came with the remote option on the driver side. I looks like you have a machine shop there so why not change it over to remote and make the missing backing bracket. The other option like mentioned is to go to Carlisle in Pa. or Mopar nationals in Ohio and hit the flea market area.

You caught me, Yes I do have a machine shop.  It makes doaing all repairs much easier.  If I need something special we just make it.  Thanks for all the advice, this sight rocks.

To be honest I have no idea , I will look back through the mountian of reciepts and see if I can find any info.  I was under the impression that they were stock to the R/T.

If it came with the standard mirror shown, there should not be a hole in the interior panel for a remote.

Are there any G codes on your fender tag or broadcast sheet?
