Seen this 74 1970s show car on e-bay today. A lot of nice detail for the price if you are
into crushed velvet.

I knew this car was familiar.  It's from Edmonton.  I saw it in April at Powerama and hadn't seen it for many many years.  You always wonder where some of these cars go.

Reading the ebay ad it mentions the ISCA. After purchasing my car I found that the second owner of my car bought it for the sole purpose of making it an ISCA show car. The guy was a mechanic for the old Camel racing series. He did the modifications/paint/chrome on my Cuda back in late 70's early 80's. Too bad the car never saw any of the shows, it's been off road since he bought it in 1977 off the orginal owner.

After actually buying a custom car like this one on ebay I appreciate them more. Yes, most are hokey and most wouldn't dream of customizing a car like that anymore but it's fun to look back at that period and see the customizing and custom paint. Hopefully soon the LSD Cuda will hit the streets again in more than 30 years.

Yes, only known non AAR Cuda and 71 Cuda known to have this option.  :smilielol:

Seriously, a nice mod the guy did back in the day. It's frenched in up top. The underside is pretty rude as it's just a pipe and they cut a square out of the trunk extention. Done nicely but I think they could have thought it out better. Shame the extention is cut as this is the cleanest, most solid trunk I've seen.

Just as these cars are part of our history, so are mods like this. I love the work that they have done on that and Choppin's. The only thing I couldn't handle and would not have back in the day and thats the velvet. I actually like everything else.
