I agree with Mike.   What a great experience, but what can you do with the car now.

My kids used to watch that "PIMP MY RIDE" Show, so I watched it sometimes to see what all the talk was about.
They took a piece of junk car, the was parked on the street, and within a week, made it a car that could never be left alone.

Mike, your Dad should now get a nice e-body VERT with another newer Hemi and A/C. Perfect for Florida cruising.

Moparts puts up with alot more people then this site.  So they are always a bit more cyinical.  And they have had alot more experience with Goody's BS before, so that doesn't help.

Nothing against Mike or his dad,, but,  It's a typical foosejob,, no matter what make/model you see on that show, isn't it amazing how they are all very similar looking when finished :puke:  So,, I say, sell it off and get something you really want and can use!

I may get flamed, but it all boils down to this:

It's just a car

Do what you want to with it, doesn't matter what anyone else says, especially on a forum where posters (not necessarily on C-C) can hide behind a keyboard.
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I was just glad Goody finlally chimed in and let us know it wasn't another internent scam.  I understand his reasoning because having a car you are afraid to park somewhere would suck.  Good luck with the sale  :ebay:

BTW - this board is so much more civilized and that is why even though I've been a member here a lot shorter than somewhere else, I much prefer to post here.  C-C.com is the best  :2thumbs:

I'm a Moparts' member, and yes I have had my feathers ruffled a time or two, but there is a great group of very knowledgeable guys on that forum and several have gone out of their way to help me. With respect to this issue involving Goody there is more to it than meets the eye.

I can understand where Goody and his Dad is coming from.  That car is one of a kind and unfortunately in today's society people don't really respect other people's property as much as they should.  And accidents do happen, whether it's a door ding or getting broad sided, you don't know when either is going to happen.

Even having a '70 Challenger R/T, let a lone a one of Foose creation.  I have my present daily driver because an old lady rear ended my other car and totalled it.  Imagine if it happened in a '70 R/T?

Makes me comfortable having my "lowly" '72 Rallye.......  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

Cuda Guy

Just a FYI, my old man didn't sell boats when we lived in Las Vegas. He dealt with RV's and worked a Casino or two, thats 100% bull. If anyone knew on the show, my dad was living and working here in Florida when Overhaulin' took his car. A deal with the producer? No way, no how. Not that it is anyone's buisness what he did there in Vegas, that is being told to stop that rumor dead in it's tracks. That show is not going to do a huge production like that, pranks and the whole set of SEMA to pull something on a 'boat deal'. Thats rediculous.
