Just a FYI, my old man didn't sell boats when we lived in Las Vegas. He dealt with RV's and worked a Casino or two, thats 100% bull. If anyone knew on the show, my dad was living and working here in Florida when Overhaulin' took his car. A deal with the producer? No way, no how. Not that it is anyone's buisness what he did there in Vegas, that is being told to stop that rumor dead in it's tracks. That show is not going to do a huge production like that, pranks and the whole set of SEMA to pull something on a 'boat deal'. Thats rediculous.

-Mike

Mike,

You and your Dad owe no one any explanations. Because the car is so widely known, there has been, and will probably continue to be for the foreseeable future, wild speculation concerning opinions on that Chally.  Take em all with a grain of salt and move on.  Like I said in an earlier post, if/when you WANT to divuldge info concerning the Chally, you can do so, but don't feel forced into defending your family's decision.  You can't spend your time running from forum to forum putting out internet fires.  You made a decision that works for you guys.  Whether I agree with your decision or not, I know you guys put a alot of thought into it and it will turn out to be the best for y'all.  That's all that really counts.  I hope it all works out in your favor.  Your bud, Old's Cool

No, for the record, I am not.

Well put Goody. Something was mentioned and I had the impression it was the same thing discussed at the other board.  Wasnt trying to jack anyones feelings off, just confirm what was being discussed.  My bad if you took it another way.  Good luck with the sale, I dont think you guys will have too much trouble moving that car.

I'd definitely sell it myself. Foose seems to act like our government... states that he is doing the will of the people (customer) and then does his own thing. Someone with the resources should start a show doing the same thing, only the build team restores the car to factory specs or exactly what the owner envisions for the car.

Personally, i think William Shakespeare said it best: "Much ado about nothing".
Guys got a car, decides to sell it, end of the Effing story.

As usual Moparts makes a huge deal about nothing. They did know they were getting a FOOSE car but I guess they realized afterwards it wasn`t a pratical car to drive daily.Cash in and find another Mopar and drive the hell out of it!The only thing that bothers me is when people you make out like a car is so special to them and then sell it a week later for big money.  :money:   :dunno:

 :iagree:

Too many people on Moparts with nothing better to do than worry about what others do.

It's just a car, and the only person who gets to decide what happens to it is the current owner. Personally, that car does nothing for me, but thats just my opinion.
