Ebody Weight
« on: June 28, 2007 - 05:56:42 PM »
What is the the weight of a ebody completely striped down to the point where nothing else can be taken off of it. I couldn't imagine it be more then 1000 lbs but thats just me lifting the front of the car up while the rear furthermost frame points are on jacks stands. the back is a little heavier doing it the same way  :dunno:

TIA

Lunch, I think youre on the right track.  But, are your quarters off yet?  Trunk?  trunk braces?  Those things add up fast, too.   :clueless:

   :iagree:

Just picturing this in my mind, the front doesn't have the engine, hood, or fenders, but the rear would still have the quarter panels. You can't remove them unless you cut them out. The trunk weighs some too, if it isn't rotted out.
