Am I Sick
« on: June 29, 2007 - 05:08:38 AM »
Ok, it took months to finally get the R/T I was after, and I thought that it would cure my mopar fever. WRONG :screwy: My wife asked why I keep buying car traders and spending countless hours at work ( T1 line very fast ) scowering the internet :ebay:, she almost flipped when I told her I just need to find that Cuda.  I have even considered getting doing a panther pink cuda, just so I could say it was for her. I actually feel like I have something wrong with me :puke:. Anyone else have this problem.

Maybe, the HUNTER gene in you is dominant...or would that be the GATHERER gene....  :clueless:
Funny I have observed soooo many times that Wanting, Looking for, Anticipating & Getting something is often more rewarding than Having, what I call new car fever.

I never thought about it that way, 90 more days till bow season in MI. I believe you right, it's the HUNT! It sure would be fun to do this full time, my productivity at work has really dropped of the deep end.

It's a real illness that doesn't seem to have an affordable cure.  I bought my Chally under the impression that I jsut need this Mopar so I can fix my Charger.  Well I have done more work with the Chally than I have the Charger.
Then I'm on the hunt, looking for that once in a lifetime deal.  Or I'm thinking about how to build this or that IF I had the time and money, looking at projects and seeing how they might turn out.
It's funny just the other day my wife said how it would be nice to have a convertible to zoom around in.  Thoughts of a RR convert, Barracuda or even a Cuda convert raced through my head.  Then she says she wants the BMW tiny convert  :faint: :poopoke:  So I told her NO WAY, if anything new it will be a Crossfire convert.
Of course I know that ain't going to happen so it is back to dreaming and looking.  I can try to convince her a Dayclona convert woul dbe cool, but she doesn't care for the later B-body style, maybe she'll change her mind at Carlisle.  Oh wait, Carlisle has a car coral so a convert of old iron may not be out of the question, time to start earning some points  :smilielol: :2thumbs:

Yeah, you've got a sickness And the Only Cure is MORE COWBELL!!!!  OOPS wrong sickness

Don't worry, you're not alone.  If only we could get the govenrment to recognize tis as a sickness, we could get government funding.   :bigshades: "Hello, my name is Gary and I am a Moparaholic"  :bigshades:

It's DENIAL!

I'M NOT SICK, You're not sick, we are all not SICK!

I had My Chally, then bought a Cuda project, then bought a vert project.  All 3 still need $$$ and work.

But why do I still look on e-bay and car for sale sites?   I DON"T KNOW!

naw, we're not sick-our hot wheel collection are just a little larger than usual-
and i told my wife before we got married-the cars were here first-and if it is going to be a problem later-we should not get married-
she feels it keeps me off the streets-and hoochie bars so we are still happily together for 15 yrs-i also think it helps when i say that if i die she will be a rich woman :smilielol:
