440 engine identification

I purchased today 440 engine. It's F-code block, dated 7-29-69. From which car this is?  I can find marks OC147552.



Current Vehicles:
Plymouth PPR Cuda 1970 489 cid
Plymouth GTX 1970 RS23V0E

I don't know if you're going to find much information about the vehicle from those numbers.

I have never seen a number like that 'OC147552'...Maybe that is a serial number, and someone will chime in with a decode. (Edit: See Barry's information 2 posts below this one)
The 'F' means it was a 1970 model year.  Did you get all the numbers from that machined pad next to the distributor?

By the way, the person standing in front of the car is glowing.  I don't know if that is you, but that is something you might want to get looked at.  ;)

I don't recall hearing of any ID system except from the HP stampings on the machined pad near the distributor.  The engines really didn't vary alot for the year except from cam and intake/carbs.

OC147552 =

0 -last digit of model year, 1970

C - Jefferson, MI assembly plant

147552 - sequential VIN number. (Possibly matches the New Yorker you pulled it out of? )

New Yorker is '66 and we have it's original engine laying at the garage.
