1970 Barracuda 383 #'s match***pics added**
« on: June 30, 2007 - 06:53:07 PM »

I have decided to sell my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. It is a project car that has the original 383 engine and the original 727 transmission. I purchased the car from a school teacher who had the kids in votech do the body work . The work is not show quality but it has new 1/4's, new trunk, and new rocker panels. The car is currently a rolling shell with boxes of parts that go with the car, rallye hood and rear valance with cutouts also go.
The car was meda-blasted and painted blue on the underside. The frame is in very good shape and all of the rusted areas have been taken out and patched.
The car is in primer now and has fiberglass front fenders. Everything that I got with the car goes with it.
The car has bucket seats and a column shift non rallye cluster. I currently dont have any pics of the car do to it being in storage. For any other questions please email or feel free to call. I am selling this car due to a house project for my family.
Asking $9500.00

The fender tag is not one the car. The broadcast sheet is under the seat but is not in too good of shape.

Is the rear valance welded to the quarters or do you just have the seam filled?

Forgive me, i am not a knowledgeable MOPAR guy. I just got myself a 68 Charger, my 1st Mopar. My question is this, if it is a matching #'s 383 wouldnt that be a CUDA vice a Barracuda? I thought the difference in the two were the available motor size. Someone set me straight. Thanks.
