Obviously you are not alone, I won't be going either and actually have never been. Can only afford one long weekend away and it's the Nationals. Even though they're both about the same driving time away I'm kinda attached to the Nat's since I've been going from '83.

I've never been either, but really hope to make it one of these years. Problem is, I live in Nebraska, so it's a really long drive, and summer is a really busy time for me, and I already have a vacation to Yellowstone planned. I might have to convince my wife that we should go to Carlisle for our summer vacation next year. Wish me luck with that one.

I just finished up working out of state for 6 weeks on the road.   Had just bought a new house 3 days before I left, so I am very busy trying to make the family comfortable :2thumbs:

Carl I'm here with you too. I just about went but 13 hours on the road is a very long drive even though I'm off for 2 weeks and the 2 other guys that were going out with me decided not to go in the end. Maybe Carlisle next year but I'll be at the Mopar Nationals this year for sure as I have been going every year since 85. I've been painting parts and working on one of my cars so I'll keep busy so I don't get all down about not getting to go.

I`m stuck here again this year, haven`t been for 4 or 5 years. My wife and I had plans to go camping and hiking with our two dogs down south for a week or so and then swing by for Carlisle,we even bought a nice travel trailer. Then we found out one of the dogs needed surgery for a torn ACL in his leg.Our vacation now is consisting of playing nurse maid to a dog recovering from surgery while the nice camping trailer sits in the driveway!   :banghead:

I am not going.  Unfortunately I have never been either, but will someday.  Right now with a 10 year old in baseball and a 4 year old getting ready to start sports, it may be many years before my summer weekends start to free-up.

Never been there either. The wife and I have talked about it, but a long drive from here. And no fuel tanker to follow me down the highway. Then if we need a motel stop, the thought of leaving my car in some unframilar parking lots overnight....  :nono:  Though about flying ..but then no car..  :screwy: Someday.....

I'm stuck in detention too, already used up any vaction time I had when I stayed home after my wife's surgery. Plus, CLF disease (Chronic Lack of Funds) prohibits traveling.

I found out about it in November of last year, but with a wife, 2 kids, and 1 more on the way, I couldn't leave my wife like that (plus 2 big chocolate labs 90+ lbs each).  Maybe next year I can attend.....I'd love to take a trip up there with the 'Cuda...make a week long trip of it or something like that.....would be alot of fun to meet most of the people from here.
