I`ll let you guys know how everything goes/how long it takes as there seems to be some problems with getting them in a timely manner.Luckily I`m in no big hurry as I need to get a bunch more stuff before I begin my interior redo.

Thanks for posting this.  There are quite a few of us who need to buy dashpads, but that is a scary (and expensive!) step.  I appreciate your information and feedback on this!

I know they are pricey, but I've had compliments on mine. I bought mine about 3 years ago. Less than a month wait after I sent a core(POS  :grinyes: ). I had to do some trimming around the dash gauges and AC vents, but not much trouble really.

I bought three of them and they worked well. It took longer than expected but everything worked out.

Do they make them or are they just another supplier like Paddocks, YO, Jims, Mancini, etc. :dunno:

NZ,

I believe they make them, as I had to supply a core.

OK,

A secret here. I sent them a POS dashpad from a 72 Cuda. Really, all they want is the frame. The padding can all be stripped before you ship.

NZ,

Yes, they do the work themselves.  I have been to their shop and seen several dashes ready to ship, and each one looked great.  I understand they have had some problems with their office staff which has adversely affected their scheduling and delivery.  Once they get that ironed out their operation should be much smoother.  If you need to know more, let me know and I will talk to the owner for you.

Thanks Fantum, I'll keep your name in the back of my mind in regards to Ultimate Rides.

Mirna from Ultimate Rides just returned my call and said that they are going to the "Ohio show" and bringing some pads with them. BUT, the '70 3 speaker that I need isn't one that they're bringing, it has to be special ordered. Alot of you said the quality is good but I am nervous commiting to one sight unseen. Has anyone seen any problems with their product, is the scripting straight and OK for the nameplate. I'll be watching this thread for a couple days before calling back, thanks for starting it.

I don't have a Cuda, but the script on the dashpad for my 70 Chally was fine. I had to trim some of the padding from around the gauges, and AC vents, but that was it. I understand your worries here, but I am happy.
