Ok, finally got some time to sit down and type.
1) Get factory wiring schematics. They are on the internet, I have the manuals, etc...
2) I downloaded the directions way before hand and went through it page by page figuring out what goes where.
3) Made a tape box on the floor of my garage the size and shape of the Challenger. I then began to lay everything out to where it should go, headlights, electric fans, etc... I then taped up the wires going to similar areas.
4) Here I started adding a few odds and ends I needed to do, like relays for the lights, relay for the electric fans, and my new Autometer gauge cluster ends that didn't come in the stock setup.
5) Pull out the old harness, carefully. I had to reuse the old bulb sockets and connectors on the new harness. I cleaned all the old sockets and connectors with electrical cleaner and used some elbow grease to get them nice and clean. I soldered them together and used heat shrink tubing over everything to ensure a good seal.
6) With the original wiring schematic, the new schematic, some of my "knowledge", I began to put things together and started wiring things together. When everything was wired up correctly, she started right up.This took me a few weeks to do, but not because it was difficult, but because of school, work, a g/f and living 2 hours away, I couldn't get a full weekend to do everything. If I had a nice weekend to work, I could have gotten it done in two days probably.
If you have any questions, let me know.
