Well, I'm back home from Carlisle. I posted some info about Dons Cuda on the "CudaGuy project" thread.
The weather was fantastic, but pretty hot. The place was packed, and the cars were just phenomenal. Sometimes, I am just amazed at the prices that people put on things. One guy has a ripped up set of 73 Challenger seats, and he wants $100 for the pair. Another guy, has a set of ripped up 73 Challenger seats marked at $600. Go figure. Car prices were the same. A few were good, most were rediculous. (Like the guy who dropped a Hemi in a 71 Road Runner, and was trying to get $75k out of it).
I had a great time at the CC tent. These forums are so anonymous and it was really cool to actually get to meet the people behind the names. Everyone is even more wonderful in person, and it makes it feel even more like family. I just wish everyone could have gone. Wasn't hard to locate Mopar Clown, cause you could see him a mile away. BTW, 4cruizin makes a mean chilidog.
I must apologize to everyone that I met, though, because I met a lot of people, and I am absolutely terrible with names, so even though I remember the person, I may not remember their name. I've always had that problem, I just can't remember names. Funny because I don't have trouble remembering numbers or other stuff, just names. Guess it's just a brain defect or something like that, but I can almost guarantee that if I meet you, I won't be able to remember your name two minutes later.
