Meeting people at Carlisle
« on: July 06, 2007 - 10:54:40 PM »
Before I forget, my father wanted to thank dragfish, fishn4cuda, shelbydogg, and others for the great conversations you had with him.  He was impressed with the kindness of the c-c.c group.  Wish I could have been there; maybe next year.

Also fishn4cuda, my father was very, very impressed with the paint job you did on Don's car.  He is not easily impressed with paint and body work, so I know it had to be a very beautiful car.   :2thumbs:

What day was your Father there? If he wanted conversation, it's understandable how he avoided me.  :grinyes:

He was there on Friday during the presentation.  He had a straw hat on and a long sleve shirt so he would not get sun burned.  I am sure you saw him, you just did not know who he was.   :2thumbs:  He also made it into the ABC news about the cuda.

Cool  :2thumbs:

I am sure he talked with several of the members, he is not shy at all, but he said he mainly talked with dragfish, fishn4cuda, and shelbydogg.   :2thumbs:

I was definitely looking forward to meeting you Chryco.  People kept saying that you were in the Charger tent.  With all the posting about Challengers being mistaken for Chargers, did you get mixed up?  :clueless:

Was the coverage on any other stations around the country or just local in PA?

I had an awesome time and enjoyed talking with everyone. What an awesome family on this site. When Dons car had a few quirks or bugs, every one chipped in to wrench in the parking lot to make sure Don was ready to rock on the pavement!

I did not hear about it on any local stations here in Georgia, so I had to search the web to find the news I found.   :2thumbs:
